Colandro made himself famous by becoming the 2nd reserve stallion at the holsteiner stallion approval in 2004. This stallion made a big impression with his great jumping ability. This beautiful stallion is a son of Contendro I (Contender) who is comming out of a beautful pedigree. Stallions like Corland, Celano en Caretano also come from this worldfamous 104a .

Colandro's mother is a staatspremiestute and daughter from the international jumping stallion CalandoI. She is the half-sister off the Grand-prix jumping stallion Locarno (Ellen Withaker), who in 2001 on the PSI-auction was sold for 1 million euro's.

Colandro comes from the impressive Holsteinerpedigree 776, which is famous about his many studs and international jumping horses, like Ramiro, High Valley, Koriander, Acorado, Lordanos and Cortino.

Colandro made in Adelheidsdorf again a big impression at the thirty-days test and got for jumping a 9.5, galop an 8 and a 8.8 for his karakter.
